method="area" draws n points with probability ∝ face area (uniform
per unit area, but with the clumps of any random sample). method="poisson"
draws oversample × A/spacing² area-weighted candidates and keeps them
greedily so that no two samples are closer than spacing (blue noise —
the spacing is a guarantee, the count ≈ 0.7·A/spacing²). Give spacing
(mesh units) for Poisson, n for area sampling; deterministic per seed.
