scheimpflug_tilt — OPTICS noncoaxial op

使い方

Scheimpflug condition for a tilted object plane (table; closed form, optionally real rays).

For a lens with focal length f and principal planes H, H’ (from raytrace.paraxial_trace), an object plane through the axis point at distance s before H, tilted by θ (the plane z = z₀ + y·tanθ): the image lies at s' = s f/(s − f) after H’ with magnification m = −s'/s and the image plane is tilted by tanθ' = m·tanθ (the plane z = z₀' + y'·tanθ'). The hinge: the object plane meets H and the image plane meets H’ at the same height y_h = s/tanθ (H to H’ is unit magnification).

With verify, real rays (small pencils aimed at the stop, the paraxial-limit focus of each object point) are traced from object heights heights_mm (default ±2 mm, 0) and a line is fitted to the image focus points: image_tilt_traced_deg is the real-ray answer. Default lens: raytrace’s cemented doublet.
