solid_angle_brightness — OPTICS illumination op

使い方

Brightness of a smooth or rough specular facet versus its slope (table).

For each facet slope θ in slopes_deg (tilted toward slope_azimuth_deg; a negative slope tilts the other way) the camera (object-side NA view_na, half-angle β = asin NA, on the +z axis) records the share of its pupil that sees the mirrored illumination cone of light (:func:solid_angle_light, half-angle α, axis tilt ψ):

Returns {"rows": [{slope_deg, closed_form, numeric, centre_distance_deg}], ...}. At σ = 0 the two columns differ only by the pupil weighting (O(β²)) and the quadrature. Brightness is relative to source radiance × Fresnel reflectance (1 = the whole pupil lit).
