The inverse of :func:radon_volume, slice by slice. The result is a plain
volume and every existing 3-D operator applies to it directly — windowing,
labelling, boundary extraction, marching cubes — which is the point of
returning voxel rather than something tomography-specific.
One number worth carrying into that pipeline: the reconstructed slice grid is
isotropic in-plane only. The slice spacing is whatever the scan used, and
it is usually coarser; the volume itself does not carry it. Passing this
volume to a measurement without its spacing is the most common way a
tomographic volume becomes a wrong number — see
examples/tomography_reconstruct.py, which measures the size of the error.
