chromatic_shift — OPTICS design op

使い方

Focal shift, image-height shift and spot size versus wavelength (table).

Re-evaluates the prescription at each wavelength (real dispersion for catalogue / Sellmeier glasses, the Cauchy fit for (nd, vd) media): per wavelength efl, bfl, the chief-ray image height at field, and the RMS spot radius on the reference (system-wavelength) image plane — the number a polychromatic sensor sees. Summaries: axial_color = BFL(first) − BFL(last), lateral_color = height(first) − height(last), and rms_polychromatic = RMS of all rays of all wavelengths pooled about their common centroid. Needs at least two wavelengths.
